The way I'm going to read Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit is in terms of a conversation with J.M Bernstein's 1994 seminar on The Phenomenology of Spirit. As I do so, I intend to share thoughts, ideas, questions, general responses/ramblings etc. It is a personal quest of mine – albeit a long-term, low-flame quest – to learn more Hegel. This post is crossed post to philosophical conversations. Moving beyond 'picture-thinking' is in many ways the most important final transition in The Phenomenology of Spirit, and in some ways, perhaps the key to the whole. I've just been watching DMT The Spirit Molecule with some interest, mainly in the hope of discovering what is known about the chemical and how it affects the brain.
